Well Josh has left on his mission. We have been very busy getting his farewell in order and getting him packed and ready to go, but he left on July 17th. It was a very bittersweet day. No one can tell you how it is going to feel. But once you have gone through it, you can relate to all those moms that did it. A part of your heart is ripped right out when they walk through that gate never to be hugged again for 2 whole years. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done. But we have gotten 2 emails and a letter so far and he is doing great. He loves the MTC and is learning so much. He has already directed his district in singing at a devotional. He has taught the mission president's wife the 1st discussion. And he is doing service daily (vacuuming the carpet on their floor). So he is busy and he said he never knows what day it is. LOL We are so proud of him and so glad that he made the decision himself to serve his Heavenly Father. We look forward to seeing the growth over the next 2 years. He has another week in the MTC before leaving for Ireland.
