This is Dad trying out his future home. hahah What really happened, was Mallory said that the stone was not going to be centered over grandma's grave and grandpa said that it was going to be centered because he was going to be laying beside her. So he tried it out and I took a picture of it. I'm not even sure he knows I took this picture. We all had a good laugh. Well thanks to everyone who made my day so special. I love you all tons.

Mother's Day
Well this past Sunday was Mother's Day and I think it was one of the most difficult days of my life. It has only been a little over 3 months since my mom died. This past week all I could think of was her and not having her here to wish her a happy Mother's Day and tell her how much I love her. And to top it off, this is the first Mother's Day I did not have one of my children here with me. It was a very difficult day. But everyone tried so hard to help make it as special of a day as they could. I woke up to a wonderful card from Gary. And we were getting ready to head to my dad's church and spend the day with him, when Gary decided he was going to disappear and not bother telling me where he was going. So I just said to myself, "I'm leaving at 8:15 even if he isn't here". But the phone rang around 8:13 and it was Vanessa and Joe calling to wish me a Happy Mother's day (it was 6:13 am their time). Then shortly there after, Gary walked in the door with a beautiful ediable fruit arrangement. It was from all my children. How wonderful of them to remember me and send that to me. I have been blessed with the best children and in-law children in the world. Thank you kids for making my day special even though you were so far away. Then later that day, Josh texted me and wished me Happy Mother's day and Jacquie and Harper skyped and wished me a Happy Mother's Day. It was so nice to hear from everyone. I have been so blessed with the best family in the world. No matter where they are living, they still keep in touch and remember there old mom back home who misses and loves them so much. Then we spend the day with my dad and siblings. We went to church with dad and then had lunch at his place. Then we all headed off to the grave site to put flowers on my grave. It was hard to believe that she is gone, but I was so glad we could all be there and honor her. Mom, I love you and miss you tons. So here are a few pictures from my wonderful day.
