Josh Got His Call!!!!

On March 20th Josh received his mission call. He waited until 8:00 p.m. EST or 6:00 p.m. MT to open it up. He was at Jacquie and Ryan’s house in Rexburg, Idaho. As he was attending BYU-Idaho at the time. Those that were in attendance in Rexburg, were Ryan and Jacquie, Vanessa, Taylor Fujimoto, Kyle Raja, 3 FHE Girl (I need to find out their names) and of course Josh. Then in Brantford at the house were Brandon, Robin (Brandon’s Girlfriend), Gary and I. We were able to watch him on webcam and listen over the phone as he opened the envelope. He hide the paper with his mission call on it behind something so he wouldn’t read the name of the place before he read the rest of it. Then he started to read. When he read the first line, Elder Joshua Musson the emotions started (for both of us). He was called an Elder. How awesome for him. Then he proceeded with a lot of tears (me too at this end) as he read that he was called to the Ireland Dublin Mission. He will report to the England Mission Training Centre on July 18, 2008. Oh my, what a shocker that was. I never suspected that part of the world. I could see by his face Josh was just as shocked as I was. Not where he expected to be sent. But he is really excited. Well everyone cheered and we are all so excited for him. He will be a great missionary. He did call his Grandpa and Grandma Musson to let them know. And he tried to call his Grandpa and Grandma Hartford but there were not home so he left a message. They called him back later that night. Well now the fun is just beginning. Vanessa and Josh will be home on April 11th from school. It will be great to spend the next few months will both of them. I'm sad because Jacquie won't be home, but I'm excited for her. They are moving to Washington DC for the summer. I can't wait to go and see them there.
